To the northwest of the country, the Quebrada de Humahuaca, created by the Río Grande, is a canyon framed by reliefs with polychrome strata. A superb landscape, rich with ancestral Amerindian culture, littered with picturesque villages along Ruta 9, from north to south. A UNESCO site and not to be missed.
