North of San Martín de los Andes lies the Parque Nacional Lanín, where Lago Curruhué (with its two parts, Chico and Grande) nestles among the ancestral species. The track leads as far as Lago Epulafquen, which is overlooked by enchanting thermal springs. A wonderful surprise.
