A massive tower, the third highest in Austria (96 m), with a square Gothic base and crowned by an onion-shaped dome, abuts on the chancel of this late-15C church. The neo-Gothic high altar, built in 1906, has a truly-Gothic altarpiece nearby from St Wolfgang. The side chapels contain evidence of the former guilds' magnificence, including the outstanding Bäckeraltar, donated by the bakers' guild before 1490.
