This parish and pilgrimage church is made up of a Baroque central section with a rotunda crowned by a huge dome (decorated by a fresco of the Assumption) that is surrounded by four semicircular chapels, topped by half domes. A miraculous wax statuette of the Christ Child, only 10 cm high, stands above a globe-shaped tabernacle. The gilded Rococo pulpit (1751) is sumptuously-worked.
