This lakeside walk extends for 2 km, amidst flowerbeds, from the Rathausplatz, or main square with a Renaissance town hall and its ceramic clock tower, to the harbour and beach. In the opposite direction the walk goes further and follows the River Traun for 2 km. Southwards, the view takes in the crests of the Erlakogel, which are shaped like a recumbent woman and known as the "Sleeping Greek" (schlafende Griechin).
