Seat of the former Styrian Diet since the 16C, the Landhaus is one of Graz's finest Renaissance palaces. The main façade, with its handsome round-arched windows and elegant doorway, hides the Italianate elegance of its three-storey arcaded courtyard with loggias and flower-decked balconies. Its old well is crowned by a finely-worked bronze dais. This refined and enchanting setting is used for summer concerts and theatre performances.
