The Schareck summit (altitude 2 604 m) can be reached by cable-car. It offers an impressive panorama which stretches over the pyramidal Schildberg and the Grossglocknergruppe to the west, and to the east the Gjaidtroghöhe, the highest point of the ski slopes, with the Hocharn to its left.
