Visitors should travel sitting facing the back of the cable-car in order to enjoy the general view of the Paznauntal valley. Ischgl seems scattered at the foot of the Seeköpfe and Küchlspitze (3 147 m). From the top station there is a good view of the ski slopes framed by the Vesulspitze, Bürkelkopf, Flimspitze and Piz Rots summits. Due south, the Fimbatal is dwarfed by the Fluchthorn massif.
