The buildings of this former Benedictine convent now house the famous Gösser Brewery. Visitors can see the church with its early-14C chancel and 16C nave, noting in particular the first two of the huge pillars, twisted like coils and resting on star-shaped bases. Furnishings date from Joseph II. The early-Romanesque crypt can only be viewed on a guided tour and the south porch ( 1520) stonework is finely carved.
