Pöllau : Michelin's recommendations

Pöllau lies in the heart of a small, natural, hilly area. The charming town, with old tiled roofs, is overlooked by an imposing Baroque abbey. Visitors can happily savour local wine, in season, sometimes to the accompaniment of accordion music. It is surrounded by a nature reserve criss-crossed by more than 100 km of footpaths, dominated by the summits of the Rabenwaldkogel (1 280 m) and Masenberg, both destinations for walkers across the woods and hills.
