The Franciscan church offers us a striking contrast between its Romanesque nave, bathed in darkness, so favourable to meditation and mystery, and its Gothic choir, with flamboyant openings that are inundated with light. The nave's massive pillars, dedicated in 1223, with capitals adorned with foliage and stylized animals, preceded the choir's palm-shaped columns and ribbed vaults, completed in 1460. An imposing Baroque altarpiece tops the high altar.
