The late-Baroque parish church, completed in 1724 and dedicated to St George, is away from the Stadtplatz, an unusual feature in the area. The fine proportions give the well-lit nave great majesty. The side altar on the left is adorned with an altarpiece by Michael Rottmayr, Christ appearing to St Theresa, painted in about 1690.
