This village is famous for its Renaissance castle, built in 1584, which houses two unusual museums. It has outstanding painted wooden ceilings. The Austrian Crime Museum relates the changing laws combating crime, from the Middle Ages to, for instance, contemporary terrorism. A vivarium, fitted out in a cellar, houses more than a hundred snakes, scorpions and giant spiders from around the world.
