The Lake Chapel lying by the Kreuzsee, at the south end of the village, was completed in 1632 to house a miraculous cross of 1510. Its rotunda-shaped plan is unusual for the Tyrol. This graceful building is a charming sight silhouetted against a superb mountainous backdrop.
