Enjoy an evening of Mozart performed by musicians and singers decked out in period costume at one of three top Viennese locations— the Golden Hall of the Musikverein, the State Opera, or the Great Hall of the Konzerthaus. The experience is recommended in Patrica Schulz's book,1000 Places to See Before You Die and is considered one of Vienna's most popular music programs.The performance is typically a choice of works that is meant to give the audience an impression of what a concert was like during the Baroque era. Pieces range from single movements to symphonies and solo concertos, as well as operatic overtures, arias, and duets. Every performance also includes the "Highlights of Johann Strauss."
