Unlike other countries, Austria kept the Habsburg furniture depository intact after the collapse of the Empire. One of the largest collections in the world, containing 163,000 objects over 6,000 sq m, awaits you at the Imperial Furniture Depository. Nothing is for sale and not everything is interesting, but some items are particularly striking such as the Egyptian study of the Empress Ludovica, the Turkish study of Prince Rudolph and the series of bedrooms furnished in Biedermeier style.
