This vast 25sq km park with 80km of paths stretches as far as the lower slopes of the Vienna Woods. Apart from a small animal enclosure where, if you are lucky, you can see some of the inhabitants of the forest and a fine view over Vienna, there are a few memories of Sissi. The atmosphere of the decor of the Hermesvilla, built between 1882 and 1886 for the Emperor so that his wife could be alone, clearly reflects her loneliness.
