Warmbad's six hot springs (29°C) provide 24 million litres of therapeutic water a day. Napoleon had even planned to develop it into a world-famous spa resort when Villach was part of the French Illyrian provinces. This project was never carried out, but the modern spa has all the facilities required of a well-maintained spa resort.
