Zell am See
: Michelin's recommendations
Zell am See occupies an outstanding site near the Grossglockner road and at the foot of the beautiful Kaprun and Glemm valleys. Its landscape, which includes the snow-capped Hohe Tauern to the south, the Steinernes Meer's rugged rocks to the north, and the green Grasberge high mountain pastures, beams in the reflection of its lake, the Zeller See. In Summer, it is a starting point for hikes, while in Winter, the resort offers an attractive skiing area.
