In the Gothic style, this church has a fine carved wood altarpiece (late 15C) which is striking for its size (13m high), harmony of proportion and virtuosity of its sculptor. Three figures – St Wolfgang flanked by St Peter and St Christopher – occupy the centre section, while the wings feature from left to right: (top) the Annunciation and the Nativity; (bottom) the Adoration of the Magi and the Dormition of the Virgin.
