Take the path along the defensive wall to gain access to the castle. The ruined castle, standing on the Staatzer Berg, can be seen from afar (it almost looks like a scene from Tuscany). In spite of a height of only 331 metres, the exposed site offers visitors a grandiose panorama of the Weinviertel and, to the northeast, as far as the Carpathians.
