This massive building standing halfway up a slope was erected in two stages. First of all, in the severe late-Medieval style of around 1500, then 60 years later in the Renaissance style, with painted arcades. Inside, apart from the furniture, pictures or weapons, visitors can see the Queen's Bedroom ceiling from 1560 and, in the Habsburg Room, a 46m-long wall painting from 1508, which depicts Emperor Maximilian's 148 ancestors.
