Note the strings of fish hanging out to dry in the sun on some of the house façades in this fishing village. The little coast road to Remniku (left) heads through pine woods by a lake. The sandy beach, dunes and water rippled by waves give the impression of being at the seaside. Among the trees are basic chalets and the odd distinctly seasonal hotel welcoming summer visitors.
