Kiek in de Kök Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

This defensive tower was built in the late 15C to withstand the fiercest attacks. At a thickness of 4m and a height of 38m, its walls constitute a bastion of unparalleled strength. It owes its name, literally “look in the kitchen”, to the fact that the view from the top looks down onto kitchens below where off-duty soldiers would relax. Visit the exhibition dedicated to the city’s fortifications and enjoy the panoramic view from the top floor with its 22 cannon ports.
