The seat of the university is a neo-Classical building with colonnades and a pediment dating from 1809, and houses a sculpture museum (copies of antique arts). But don't miss the Aula: the large, sumptuously decorated assembly hall. In the attic, a lock-up has been preserved for visitors: misbehaving students were confined here for periods lasting from two days (for returning a book late) to three weeks (duel).
