Aizpute : Michelin's recommendations

On the River Tebra, the village of Aizpute retains some fine late-19C wooden houses (on Jana Street and Katoula Street). Although a ruin, the 13C Livonian Order castle of Pilsdrupas still cuts a proud figure, and the regional museum has an interesting ethnographic collection.
