Dundaga : Michelin's recommendations

To the south of Cape Kolka, Dundaga is the birthplace of Arvids Blumentals, a “famous” Latvian who left for Australia and became the inspiration for Crocodile Dundee. Having learnt this, visitors will be unsurprised by the statue of a crocodile, by far the most curious thing in the village. More in keeping with expectations and equally (if not vastly more) agreeable is the medieval castle that overlooks the shores of its lake.
