Impossible to miss, this thoroughfare runs for 2km from Cathedral Square to the parliament. Gedimino is the shop window of Vilnius, where fashions come and go, and stores and retail complexes vie for shoppers’ attention. Be aware that it is at its liveliest over the weekend, when the street becomes a pedestrian zone. If the prospect of retail frenzy does not inspire, note that it also offers an eclectic range of façades and a wonderful cityscape from the corner of Vilniaus Street.
