This neo-Classical building on Komedieplaats is named after its designer Pierre Bruno Bourla. The façade columns frame busts of famous authors and composers. Above the attic, you will notice muses accompanied by Apollo greeting visitors. The ceiling in the first hall was decorated by Jan Van Riet from Antwerp. The cupola of the foyer is impressive. The theatre has just been modernised, allowing it to stage more elaborate productions.
