This museum includes Paleolithic, Bronze or Iron Age objects unearthed during local digs, as well as Medieval exhibits. Note the late-14C Entombment and a fine collection of chasubles. A room is devoted to the folklore of Ath and its famous Ducasse. Also, relief maps retrace the main stages in Ath's history, including its fortification by Vauban.
