The Dender cuts across this beautiful park. Note the 17C dovecote near the castle. The park's main feature is the 24m-high artificial rock, pierced by underground passageways, built for the Archduchess Marie-Christine, who ruled the Low Countries with her husband Albert of Saxony. She used the pavilion at the top as a hunting lodge.
