A few curiosities surround Holy Cross Gate, in the ramparts. Three lovely windmills on a pivot, which are typical of the region, stand on the north side, on the old ramparts, including Bonne Chieremolen and St-Janshuismolen (1770). The Guido Gezelle Museum, the poet's birthplace, is nearby. On Camerstraat, you will see the Archers's Guild of St Sebastien, which contains portraits of the Guild's "kings".
