Er waren diverse zaken niet in orde: voorgerechten werden half koud geserveerd, wijn werd geschonken zonder commentaar op voorproeven af te wachten, korststukjes van de kazen bij het kaasgerecht terwijl hier wel een supplement voor werd gevraagd boven de menuprijs, etc, etc. Veel zaken die de gezamenlijke ervaring helaas gewoon onvoldoende maakten. Toen we dit bij het afruimen van het nagerecht kenbaar maakten, wat het enige commentaar "dat spijt ons", verder helemaal niet. Van een voormalig culinair journalist, die zelf ongetwijfeld vele van dit soort ervaringen heeft gehad en beschreven, hadden we beter verwacht: in elk geval voor wat betreft het omgaan met een serieuze klacht.
