Chaudfontaine, in the Vesdre valley, has been a popular spa town since the late 17C. Its hot springs (36.6°), are unique in Belgium and enable to treat rheumatism. The resort also boasts an open-roofed hot-spring swimming pool and a casino with a crazy golf course. The 17C Maison Sauveur (17e s.), in the Parc des Sources, houses the Tourist Office.
