      Pros

      Ce petit restaurant à 7 km de Bruges vaut le détour! La cuisine y est excellente, d'une grande fraîcheur, avec un mélange d'originalité et de subtilité, et les assiettes sont superbement présentées. Un vrai chef d'oeuvre tant pour les yeux que pour le palais. Le service est assuré par l'épouse du chef cuisinier, souriante, joviale, à nos petits soins et, qui plus est, parlant le français! Un rapport qualité-prix exceptionnel si vous choisissez la formule menu à 35 €, avec pour commencer, 5 mises en bouche très raffinées et pour finir une avalanche de petits desserts. Et pour couronner le tout, des vins servis sans retenues et fort bien choisis (dans la formule vins d'accompagnement avec apéritif et café à 22,50€). Que du plaisir!

      regarding value for money, one can only be positive. the food was very nice, the flavours were well balanced and the products were of a good quality and the chef even procures them fresh from a local market (waiter information).

      Cons

      despite of the very good food, we were very dissapointed with some shady taxevasion tactics. a certain menu you could not pay with the credidcard. what is up with that? we showed our discontent with this and asked for more information. a clear anwser was not provided, but the question itself pressured the chef into diverging from this absurd rule. yours gastronomically, kenneth verhulst and elisabeth hubrecht.
