This long white brick building (1969) offers a good insight into Flemish Expressionism based on the Latem School. Note works by great masters such as Permeke (Lady in the Green Hat, Golden Landscape), Van den Berghe, Gust de Smet ( Twilight, Farm, Shooting Hut) and their tragic-mystical precursor Albert Servaes ( Executioner, Passion, Tomb, Resurrection). A few sculptures are also exhibited.
