The 18C abbey now houses a museum with old paintings and furniture from St Bartholomew's church in Geraardsbergen and the Hane Steenhuyse in Ghent. Note tobacco cultivation(which thrived locally from 1840 to the Second World War) and black Chantilly lace exhibits, as well as a collection of pipes from all over the world.
