The garden of this former Beguine convent is still lined with rows of 18C Mosan-style, brick and stone beguine houses now converted into provincial authority offices. A modern building houses the Provincial Museum which organises international modern art exhibitions. Ivy-clad ruins and a few carved stones are all that remain of the church bombed in 1944.
