These collections relate the history and artistic life of Hasselt and the old Loon county. Apart from liturgical objects, the museum displays the world's oldest monstrance dating from 1286, fine Art Nouveau ceramics from the Manufacture de Céramiques Décoratives founded in 1895 and a collection of 19C and 20C shop signs and paintings.
