This museum occupies a Louis XVI building erected in 1905. It has a lovely collection of paintings and sculptures. You can see work by French painters (Gauguin, Monet, Signac, Derain) and some Picassos. Belgian painting is also represented by Van Rysselberghe, Claus, Ensor, Wouters, Khnopff, Evenepoel and the Flemish Expressionists. Contemporary artists include Magnelli, Arp and Ubac. The basement contains a stamp cabinet.
