Louvain-la-Neuve : Michelin's recommendations
Louvain-la-Neuve has been the only new town created in Belgium since Charleroi (1666). It is an urban centre and university town, divided into four districts (Hocaille, Biéreau, Bruyères, Lauzelle) where shops, homes and faculties mingle. The town centre's urban district is reserved for pedestrians only. A science park (companies and laboratories) and the Cyclotron complex have been built on the town's outskirts.
