This magnificent needle has sheer sides overlooking the Warche Valley. A spire opposite indicates Wavreumont Abbey, founded by Leuven Benedictines in 1950.

The front of this former Benedictine abbey church (1782) is framed by two tall towers. It was the Eupen-Malmédy diocese cathedral from 1921 to 1925. The interior has interesting furnishings and fine artifacts. Note the 18C carved pulpit, late 17C c..
