Archaeological Museum Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

This museum, housed in the former 16C Mosan-style meat market, displays the results of digs carried out in the province. The Roman and Merovingian antiquities collections are particularly rich. There are also fine 1C-7C jewellery and glassware items and a model of Namur, which is a miniature replica of the one made by Larcher d'Aubancourt, one of Louis XIV's engineers. The Maison de la Culture arts centre (1964) stands behind the museum.
