Visé is a popular tourist resort on the banks of the Meuse. It is renowned for its gastronomic speciality of goose prepared with a garlic sauce. Visé boasts three guilds (crossbowmen, arquebusiers and free arquebusiers) who parade in town during special events and numerous tourist amenities, including an arts centre, a playing field, a nature reserve and Robinson Island.
