After years of excavating land in Aubechies and the surrounding area, archaeologists have reconstructed various types of dwellings, from the early Neolithic period to the Gauls. The six wattle and daub houses, with their furnishings and utensils, give visitors an idea of our ancestors' life. Beyond Aubechies church (late 11C-early 12C), the Roman House, built according to the plan of a 2C villa, contains the finds unearthed during Gallo-Roman site digs.
