This dam built in 1977 is the largest in Belgium. It is a gravity dam with a 790m-long crest, topped by a 107m-high viewing tower. The reservoir covers 351 ha and has a capacity of 68.4 million m3. It is used for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving.
