This 16C-18C castle, restored in 1972, is of Mosan Renaissance and Louis XV style. The tour takes visitors through a series of rooms with fine wood panelling and fireplaces adorned with 17C and 18C furniture. Louis XIV stayed here during the siege of Dinant (May 1675) and signing of the Treaty of Freÿr. Archduchess Marie-Christine, Governor of the Low Countries, was also a guest here in 1785. Note the paintings of hunting scenes in an entrance hall.
