Pairi Daiza (Cambron-Casteau) Highly Recommended Highly Recommended Highly Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

This place located on the former Cambron Abbey estate defies classification and has a suitably strange name. In old Persian, Pairi Daiza means "closed garden" - the oldest name for Paradise... and these stunning grounds bear quite a resemblance to it! This place really is a world of its own, divided into eight realms, each a skilfully reconstructed biotope, for some 5 000 animals in semi-liberty (including a couple of pandas since 2014) along with the flora and architecture of the different continents. The exceptionally diverse landscaped gardens are dotted with buildings constructed using traditional materials.
