This tall 48m dam has a 62 millions m ³ water capacity. It includes a hydro-electric plant and is completed by two secondary dams, one in Bavigne and the one in Pont-Misère, designed to regulate rises in river water-levels . From the Kaundorf road, on a bend 800metres past the dam, you have a beautiful view over the lake.
