The left wing of the palace, the old city hall, goes back to the 16C. It has gracious turrets and its facade is decorated with geometric bas-reliefs. The right wing, known as «la Balance», was added in 1741 and the building to its right, finished in 1859, houses the House of Representatives. The rear wing which looks onto the gardens was built in 1891. The guardroom has some beautiful weapons. In the dining room, four tapestries show the story of Telemachus.
